General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

The GDPR is a piece of legislation passed by the European Parliament which comes into force on Friday 25 May 2018.  It aims to make it simpler for people to control how organisations use their personal details, and strict rules mean companies will not be allowed to collect or use personal information without the person’s consent.  Personal information includes things like your name, email address and phone number.

Here at the WCTRS, we are committed to respecting and protecting our members privacy, and by providing us with your personal information, you consent to the use of it in accordance with the conditions of our Privacy Notice which can be found here.  We ask that all members take time to read carefully through this notice and if you have any questions, please contact us at wctrs@leeds.ac.uk
